There is a job on eFinancialCareers that advertises a 780k GBP salary? There are jobs like that around, but in my experience, they will negotiate the compensation individually, since at that point, it’s hard to standardize experiences.

There are no salaries for fresher CFAs in USA. Some get paid nil, some are already VPs in GS getting US$1m.

If you’re earning $1 million at GS, they probably would have given you an MD title (or maybe Director or something at worst).
