finished derivatives notes and exercises yesterday, it was a pain in xxx crawling through Qbank now, felt like I nearly forgot 30% of contents I learnt before derivatives … I found it is easy to deal with certain single topic. but if you combine them together as a mini test, it is painful to jump all around, with so much detailed and indepth contents. i.e. IRP arbitrage, jumping to pension, capital budgeting, and then a swap valuation … From now on, I will do more combined exercise rather than focusing on single chapters, and improve the jumping skill
good morning team. i’m reporting for duty. my tomorrow is shot- embracing the 1/4 irish in me, so i’d like to get a solid day in. ndzhai, agree, way harder when you start to combine stuff. i’m still doing single study sessions and just started up q-bank this week- derivs and corp fi q’s so far. i think today and all of next week during the week are going to be dedicated to equity. i think i’ll do some q-bank and then mix it up and do CFAI end of chapter problems as well. that should help drill stuff down. i’ll move into multi-topic stuff later, april sometime. for now, i’m still into drilling down one area at a time to try to really learn it well. i just need to f around for about 10 more minutes online, check email/facebook, etc, then i’ll dive into a little q-bank quiz to start the day off right.
I’m at work. Should I put up a lunch crunch around noon?
Sure ditch - if that is not much of a pain for you. I have not yet installed QBank, so can’t come up with any questions until I am done with the readings.
Let’s do corp fin. I read a bit last night and I’ll review a bit over lunch today.
sounds good. are any of the regulars here stalla users? i’d lovvvvve if one day we’d get a passmaster crunch (only b/c our crunches have been very schweser biased and i like to get the full abdominal workout when possible). i only have the 'schwes, but if anyone is a passmaster nut here and wants to throw up a little crunch action every now and again, i’d love to see what the other half is doing.

I got off to a late start after putting in a long night at the office…but I am finishing up my Alt Inv review and then I will take a couple of schweser created tests and finish off the day with some FI fun. best, TheChad

Hi All, Just finished up Alt, now going to SWAPS in deriv then all schweser notes will be done. I have been going to back to the CFA text for some stuff but most of it is covered. Pretty soon I will smash QBANK and CFA questions I cant believe we are only 2.5 months out! Tomorrow is shot, I live in Boston and its gonna be a disaster but I have monday off!! GL
My friend told me he has box seats for some hockey game tomorrow, so I am going to try and not go out / get wasted tonight as I said I would go. Hopefully will get some good studying in today / tonight.
