any help or clarification on this is appreciated!! last item set on exam 3AM Question 55 asks to calculate goodwill for Optimax I thought for equity method (since its 35% and no control) that investment would be reported as a line item. Why is goodwill being calculated separately then? Am I missing something fundamental here? Question 56 the answer explanation reduces NI by additional depreciation on PP&E. I have not seen this before. If this method is accurate where can I find more information on this. Thanks in advance!
