you have to read the contract of the franchise carefully as a lot of them load you with the risk. if you actually succeed at building a franchise ownership transfers to the corporation after about yeat 5 - meaning you put in the work and start-up capital and they reap all the benefit.

Not exactly letting your money work for you.
