Side jobs for extra money

Any ideas…

My background - Charterholder and a chartered accountant with over 15 years’ experience in senior finance roles.

I build furniture (dining, coffee, and end tables) and do photography on the side… not because I need to, but because I thoroughly enjoy both hobbies and people are willing to pay me to do them. None of which have anything to do with my educational or professional background.

How much would you need to get paid for this to be worth your time? One way is to use Amazon Mechanical Turk, or similar websites, where you complete quick writing assignments for small amounts of money. You could otherwise use your assets (make Lending Club Loans, rent your garage, etc.), start a blog, become a Uber driver, or maybe some other things like that. When I was in college, my hobby was signing up for psychological experiments. The payout was $20 to $50 for 30 to 60 minute sessions. You could also be a sperm donor, if you fit the criteria (height, weight, SAT score, no genetic issues). Although, they pay you for that, so it’s really “sperm seller” not donor.

Is free sperm tax deductable?

gigolo or stripper at a gay bar.

Literally the only time in my life I will get to correct bchad sir.

And yes, it is, but only if it results in a baby.

Ha ha ha. Good catch. I will remember this spelling correctly, now.

I don’t see why it would not be deductible, provided that you itemize deductions on your tax return and declare your “gift” to a registered 501© organization.

YouTube.

that’s a lot money with lots of fun…

If your boss discovers you doing this side occupation, is it worse for him or worse for you?

There is a site call Spare Hire that posts a lot of finance gigs (part time, remote stuff)…

SpareHire is crap. I have tried it myself and a few others have too. Maybe works for US residents but not for anyone outside US, they simply dont activate your account.
