Hello,
I am studying for the CAIA I, and am having trouble understanding the statistical equations on the exam. I am a lawyer with little background in math and statistics. Although the UpperMark resources are very good, they do not provide the step-by-step process to solve the problems (the provider assumes you know the basics). I am able to fill in the gaps through the video sessions, but it’s still cumbersome. Does Kaplan do a better job of explaining the equations in their books? If not, does anyone have any suggestions on how to learn the materials? Thanks.
