How many days of study leave does your employer give you for the CFA exam? Is it an adequate amount or should it be more?
Mine didn’t give me any. Which was fine, easy work!
None. They allow me to take one week off before the exam even though it’s a super busy period, but it’s simply deducted from my annual vacation balance.
Five days. Not enough, I take also some paid leave days.
One week but I would plan another week of my annual leave with it and took 2 weeks off for each level (all passed on first attempt). Though I used to start studying quite late (Nov for level 1, April for level 2 and 3).
What is difference in cheat sheets and formula sheet.?
And from where I can download cheat sheets
Way to stay on topic buddy.
For level 1 and level 2 they gave me a day off. For level 3 I changed to a new department and they gave me 3 days off.
Not sure what you mean by an adequate amount. If you’re just using the amount of time they gave you off to study, you’re not passing the exam. You should be well versed in the material well before the last week of the exam.
Zero. No reimbursement for books or exam fees, no time off. Also, discouraged me the entire time, and no acknowledgement that I am a Charterholder now. They knew I’d want to leave, and guess what they were right. My only hope is that they can me before my contract is up in 1.5 years.
