Surrender cost index question

Hi Guys

Just a question on the surrender cost index…in the final step, when do we know to divide by 100 and when to divide by 1,000? In some examples I have seen 100, some 1,000 so I am abit confused!

If its a multiple choice the answer will be clear.

If it’s not, IFT uses 1000.
