Hi, I am sitting the cfa 3 exam in Sydney in September. We currently have 600 covid cases a day here. I’ve heard nothing from the cfa to confirm if the exam will go ahead. Called and emailed but no response. Does anyone know if the exam will go ahead? Seems unlikely to me
I can say that in Denver we got one deferment notice 4 weeks in advance, and a second one 2 weeks in advance. When the second one happened, I also was calling and trying to find out.
What I learned from the experience - CFA Institute will try to have the tests so long as there is no lockdown or so long as the test centers are open. They will not call things off on their own anymore. They will leave it as a go and let local government make any decision otherwise.
The best number to call in this situation is the number of your Prometric test center. If they are open, your test will happen. If they aren’t, it won’t. I totally appreciate how frustrating this must be. All one can do is assume the tests are happening until they are definitely not.
