The CFA 15-Day Challenge

Alright, this sounds a bit wild, but I’m here to challenge myself—and hopefully inspire others—that the CFA Level 1 is possible, even with a demanding job and minimal study time.

I’ll be diving into this with a background in Econ and Math, currently working as a Financial Analyst.

With just around 15 days to go until my CFA Level 1 exam in the November cycle, I’m taking time off work and starting my prep from scratch.

The plan? Study 15 hours each day, every day. I’ll share updates here via edits or further posts to keep myself accountable and maybe even motivate others going through the grind.

Here’s the study breakdown:

7 Days: FRA, Equity, Fixed Income
3 Days: Quant, Portfolio Management, and Alternatives
3 Days: Corporate Finance, Derivatives
2 Days: Economics, Ethics

Revision in the remaining
I have to do some travelling as well during this time

Wish me luck!

(Edit-1)
Day-1:
Got on YT, saw some videos from Bajaji and Fintree to get warmed up

15 days @ 15 hours would be 225 hours, which should be plenty.

I would start with a mock test to see if there are any sections you can skip because you’ve already covered the material in college and have it down pat already. And if there are any sections you need to focus on.
