Hi folks,

Just wanted to get your thoughts on a junior research associate role with CLSA and what’s their reputation like in Asia, versus other sell-side firms, and among buy-side clients. Any inputs are welcomed! Thanks!

Hi,

CLSA is very well known in Asia, particularly for their Equity Research. Considered to be up there with the foreign IBs.

They are owned by Citic Securities, one of the top investment bank/brokerage house in Hong Kong/China by market share right now.

Over the last 1-2 years, they had restructuring though…so you may want to find out more about the direction the management is taking

going forward. Cheers
