Is it me or are there too many nonsensical posts on this site… I am so used to Bionic Turtle’s forum which I find to be significant;y better.
Hey Brian, I know you from BT site… I’m S666 there too… How do you mean “nonsensical”? BT forum is much, much more technical for sure…AF is more" for the masses "and a lot more social network style than BT. Still benefits to be had here though… But yeah I take your point (somewhat)

I am not complaining - or I don’t mean to be complaining. I guess I just need to get used to this forum after having spent so much time over at BT! I don’t yet like the feel of this forum but I suppose I will get used to it sooner than later. Thanks for saying hello! We should connet on LinkedIn.
Its also after exam results just came out so most people are doing a lot of unwinding and there are a lot of silly posts. March-June its great because there are tons of people online at any given time if you have questions
I think that there’s exactly the right amount of nonsense here; not too much, not too little.

Hi Brian, I’m familiar with Bionic Turtle since I used that product and forum in the past. Now look here, I have the FRM designation, the CAIA designation, the CFA charter, and a collection of other letters that have now piled up like a trophy cabinet maintained by a bored champion, like Michael Phelps yawning as he gazes upon his collection of Olympic medals. I also boringly have a collection of degrees, a BSD job, years of priceless experience in what dilettantes might call “high finance” and all of that garbage. And even though you could say I am pretty much what might be best termed conservatively as a “financial stud,” hear this, reader, I am unashamed to confidently share with you that I have the sense of humor of a *** ****** 7 year old, and this has always been the case, and frankly that will not change. I always have busted the heartiest guts at lowbrow humor, and in general, the filthier or most off-color, the better. So some of the “nonsense” posted on this site gives me a chuckle, young man, and can shine a tiny light into my day.
That said, I have to agree that this forum is pretty much an unmitigated dumpster fire.
Did Bionic Turtle have the story of the guy who had uncontrollable diarrhea during the exam, and blasted his *** all over the bathroom sink in front of all the other candidates? Didn’t think so. Real value there.
