The mood this time round just feels like a Trump victory.
Harris is going backwards.
It looks like it’s going to be the blacks and the Hispanics who carry Trump across the line this time, and Trump will have finished what Nixon and Reagan started, shattering the Democrat coalition and rebuilding the GOP as a multiethnic blue collar conservative party.
Trump needs to win by a landslide
Not from the US and I’m following the election from afar and for me US’s foreign policy is more important than domestic stuff. Anyways, it really looks like minorities are pivoting towards The Donald. Which is interesting because in 2016 the “deplorables” surprised the liberals and the media by voting Trump. After the election, there was literally ZERO introspection about how this came about. If this time around its the minority vote that turns the tide in Trumps favor, it will be interesting to see if we’ll see any introspection. Not holding my breath.

Minorities are often at the bottom of the economic heap and they’ve been hurt by inflation and by mass illegal immigration, as they’re the ones competing with illegal immigrants for jobs.
Many of them think they were better off economically under Trump. They’re voting with their pocket books

I agree except for the abortion part. Also me thinks that the general tax rate isnt important, its where the tax is applied what matters. Also, I think your speculative option trading capital gains are a great source to tax. Just kidding, the market will tax away any abnormal gains you might achieve.

This man has given so much to his country. In 2016, he had to do it mostly by himself. In 2024, he had help from JD Vance, from Vivek, from Tucker, and from the Trump Democrats like Elon, Bobby Kennedy, and Tulsi, and from many many others. He built a movement. I’m hoping that history will say of Donald J Trump that he saved the Republic.

Added America now has her first transgender congresswoman, Sarah McBride who is a Dem (no surprise) representing Delaware’s at-large congressional district (which just means the state only has one Representative so their District is the entire state)
Sarah won the Democrat Primary with just under 80% of the vote and defeated the Republican (a straight white man) 58-42 in the General.
Edit: added: some people are blaming Sleepy Joe for the Harris loss, saying he waited too long to step down. The exact opposite seems to be true: the more the American people saw of Kamala, the less they liked her. If Joe had stepped aside a week before the election, Kamala would probably have won.
Dems will never learn. There will be no introspection. The party has been taken over by elitist and arrogant left leaning champagne socialist who have no understanding of the life and worries of an average American. No, gender identity and other woke agenda are not on priority list for a family trying to survive. And quite honestly, many of these woke ideas, such as the one in the link, are so sickening that one doesn’t even have to be very conservative to start thinking about voting for the Republicans.

I’m a democrat. I received texts from the party to go out and vote.
I voted for trump simply to send a message that they they have gone too far left.
The democrats need to focus on what matters to the average American, and stop being so gay.
