Upcoming info interview w/ VP of PE firm

Sup everyone,

I managed to land an info interview as the title states.

I’m aiming to land a role in corporate finance which I mentioned in the email and luckily this guy is more than willing to still give advice and help.

I’m almost two years post grad (non-target), no real finance experience. I know this is pretty much a Hail Mary but any tips/advice? I wanna do all I can to leverage this interview.

Talking to someone in PE about Corp Fin. I know it doesn’t much make sense but never know what’s going to happen.

I’m not aware of any magic formula. Know everything you can know about the person, their role, and the firm. If you spend 1 second on a question you can google, then you are messing up. Have your 30 second self pitch down in case it comes up.
