I know there are a number of threads on Schweser vs. Uppermark for the CAIA designation. I used Schweser for the Level 1 exam, and on test day, I was “surprised” by some questions.
For those of you that are CFA candidates, and have used Schweser to prepare for the CFA exam and/or CAIA Level 1 exam), is Uppermark really that much better? What about a combination of the two providers (mixing the notes, videos, and Qbank)? How do each of these sections compare against each other: notes, videos, questions, final review?
I think Uppermark is fine. However, they still haven’t posted about half of the topic material in the testbank and my test date is only five weeks away. Very aggravating…
It was a glitch, I think. I contacted them and they fixed it.
Overall, I think Uppermark is a pretty good product. I found the exam slightly more quantitative than the Uppermark questions bank would suggest, but it certainly got the job done.
