On your business card, does there have to be a comma after your name before the CFA?
For example,
John Doe, CFA
John Doe CFA
I think the second one is not acceptable. In my case, my firm printed it like that, except CFA is in a slightly smaller font.
I looked through the Level I curriculum, and it doesn’t have any examples without the comma, so the answer is unclear.
I’d suggest e-mailing CFA Institute and asking them. In my experience, they’re quite prompt answering questions.

You’re probably fine, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. Personally, no comma seems like a typo, and for that reason I wouldn’t use a business card without it looking exactly how I want it.

Emailed CFA and awaiting answers. Seems like a gray area but I still requested it to be reprinted with comma. Just looks strange without it.
igor555:
just add it with a pen
But use a professional pen; you don’t want your cards to look slipshod.
