Using IFT level 2 preparatory tools

Hi Guys,

I passed CFA Level 1. I owe the result of the 300 hours I put in mainly to Irfanullah Financial Training videos.

I am attempting the CFA level two exam next year in June and am using the same videos and other tools from Irfanullah FInancial Training. I am sure with a consisitent study plan as suggested and guided by IFT, I should be able to pass the L2 exam too.

I have tried many other sources of training for the CFA exam and none have matched levels of clarity, ease in terms of comprehension, a classroom feeling (brings in the discipline) and so many more great aspects IFT is able to provide.

One great thing is the solutions to all the solved examples in the CFA curriculum are explained meticulously and even better than that are the test questions provided in the form of a question bank.

Subscribing to IFT’s service changed how I approached the CFA exam and hence passed it too.

IFT in itself is not sufficient to study for L2. He acknowledges that too. At the minimum Kaplan notes and/or the CFAI curriculum must be read. I totally agree that IFT videos are the best though!

Do his video lectures actually solve the exact same blue boxes that are in the CFA 2017 curriculum?

CFA is a very rigorous program and no single material or training can help one to cover all aspects but one needs support and guidance to manage time and efforts effectively. When it comes to optimizing time/efforts and also to get support or basic foundation on some concepts I found IFT quite helpful. I’ve only seen their sample/mock videos so far and Im planning to subscribe to their course in near future. They break down the concepts and practical examples in to smaller pieces and explain step-by-step so you can digest the material and grasp the subject matter.
