value of t stat vs t stat

In one of the practice sets they have the value of the t-stat as a column and another column that says just “t-stat” what is the difference?

Where can we find this question?

its in the cfa institute mock exam am # 29 quant analysis

Haven’t taken any mocks yet (haven’t looked at this question)-- is one value the critical t-value and the other the calculated t-value? That would be my guess without looking.

is calculated t-value the same as t-stat?

Quant is killing me, but I think that the t-stat that you’re given in a table is calculated based on your null hypothesis being 0. If your hypothesized null is something other than 0 (example Ho: Beta =1), you have to calculate the t-stat.

I haven’t gotten to the mock.

I havent seen the question either but I’m assuming lammy has the right idea as well. In the table the t stat is for the 0 value.
