Brett A Hickey is the man. How a Canadian kid from Alberta can infilitrate the hamptons that fast is crazy.
I still can’t get over this quote- Lance to camera: “ There is really no better feeling that getting a guy on the phone, that you really don’t know, and forcing some stock down his throat, and he ends up buying it. Thats what gets me going every day”
But its not like those brokers are ripping off grandmas or ppl with no savings. They are calling guy’s with tons of money. If you see the show, hes like its all about Greed, if the stock can get a jump one day, the guy will call back and triple his shares, because these guys love money and want more of it.
^ So it makes it any more ethical that they rip off wealthy people as opposed to poor people? Are you Lance himself?
As a F500 CEO/High up Exec making a ton of money, and very important decisions really. I am sorry but I think you are capable of double guessing your broker. Which is their clientele. If you think that is ripping people off, then what you think of all the MBS Traders and Sales people at BB banks over the last couple years?
I think if I were ever in a position where people were cold calling me, as soon as I heard the words, “Sir, I have an incredible opportunity…” click!!!
You are crazy if you think their clients are F500 CEO’s. They might CALL those CEO’s, but NO WAY is a F500 CEO buying stock from those shmucks… Now they may have some rich clients, but as this show demonstrates, not all rich people make sound financial decisions.

Damn I don’t have mojo so I have to watch them on the site or buy the DVD…wow that’s ridic she turned out the offer. She seems pretty immature honestly…putting her friends before her career. And does anyone think the P/E dude is prick? It seems like he doesn’t do jacksh*t, he’s just on the show to show off…drive a Ferrari, take a helicopter, ride in a plane. The episode that’s on their website now is the only one where I’ve seen him do work…
He’s hosted a hamptons charity event. He is on the board of Business in New York Canadians. He is on the board for Young Canadians in Finance. He pulled 3 all-niters in a couple episodes ago. Have you seen the guy’s resume when he was at Citi, are you serious?

I’m absolutely serious and no I haven’t seen his resume (I don’t know how you have either…I guess you searched…maybe it was on an ep). Like I said, I don’t get mojohd so I don’t get to watch the show faithfully…I catch it when I see it’s updated on the website. The episodes I see are “I’m going to take a helicopter today”…“I belong to this car club”…I’ve never really seen him “grinding” except in this episode that’s on the site now where he pulled an all-niter and is working on getting investors for his fund.
Yah I agree, but remember this is Mojo TV, they hardly ever show Bobby G making deals, but yet we see him on boats all the time. They focus on the glitz and glamor. I looked up his fund, they have a bunch of the deals he worked on. Truly though how many people would watch a show about some guy whos a MD, calling his analysts to fix some LBO model. Also they can not show the background of the deal on TV, for obvious reasons.

Ha prob only me and a few other guys on this forum… Also they can not show the > background of the deal on TV, for obvious reasons. Yea I understand that but Season one was a lot more “work” oriented than “lifestyle” oriented- I can remember them bleeping out names of companies that the fund managers would tell their traders to buy/sell. I guess I just don’t want them to turn this show into a “lifestyle” show. Don’t get me wrong I love nice things (Ferrari’s and designer clothes) but if I wanted to see nice things I would turn to VH1, Bravo, Mtv, etc…I’m so over the “glitz and glamour” tv…but yeah you’re right, they want more viewers.
Yeah, Liticia is a bimbo! I would give just about anyting for the opportunity that she was handed in Paris.
I love how the dude was like, “We do Restructuring”. So now is when we make our money with recession coming, stupid broad.
