you gotta put this in Google translate, revert back to Hindi and ask an Indian friend to decipher - then it all makes sense brah. Kya main sahee hoo, Kuznec bhaee?
For the duration of my stay here on AF, the answer to all car questions has been a 2002 Lincoln Town Car. Sadly I must report that the Town Car is now in the possession of a 17 year old kid who wanted it as a demolition derby car. What started as a suspected vacuum leak turned out to be an intake issue and after careful deliberation I decided to buy a nice vehicle for the first time in my life. Well, the second time, depending on your definition of nice, but I knocked up my girlfriend 6 weeks after buying the last one so I quickly disposed of it and bought the previously mentioned Town Car.
So, to answer the question, I now drive a 2015 Chrysler 300. I came very close to spending entirely too much on a 2013 Porsche Panamera, but just couldnāt justify dropping almost $50K on it, especially with the winters here. Iām very happy with the faux luxury of my 300, itās got every option and good power and is a very smooth ride, but being practical isnāt nearly as much fun as the Panamera S I test drove.
Almost. I still came in around $20K instead of $50k. I put maybe 5K miles per year on my car, so with a little good fortune, Iāll be here on AF in 15 years talking about how a mid teens Chrysler 300 with 115K miles is the BSD car of empty nesters everywhere.
Chrysler 300 is interesting car. Itās probably the most quiet and solid feeling American vehicle Iāve been in. Goes very fast without you realizing it - 90 mph feels like 70 mph in a worse car. Also, the lack of badge premium and rapper looks means they are usually priced pretty reasonably. $35k for this kind of premium car is a good deal. Some people will pay $55k for a 330i nowadays. The thing that bugged me though, is that the windows are so small and the visibility is not good. It feels like driving a tank. Is this just what Chrysler does? The 200 feels similar, and I canāt imagine what Dodge cars like Challenger or Charger must feel like.
A friend recently bought a 2013 Audi A4 with a 6 speed manual transmission. She let me take it out on the road for a spin last week: I hadnāt driven stick in years and it was loads of fun!!!
My day-to-day ride is a 2013 Chevy Trax. That Popemobile looks shweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!
