The CFA curriculum covers a lot on alternative assets. What does CAIA cover that is different? I’ve tried researching this on my own already but I just find general information on the CAIA curriculum. Can anyone provide a specific list of topics CAIA covers that CFA doesnt?
Thanks
Exclusive content - Real assets (including farmland and timberland)
In-depth dive vs. CFA - private equity, hedge funds, real estate (including REITs), managed futures, portfolio allocation from an endowment/fund of funds perspective
I enjoyed this the CAIA material much more than the CFA material (note I worked with Alt Assets).
