Past 2 levels I never had to use bathroom during exam but I’ve been drinking more coffee lately. Are you allowed to use restroom and does someone watch? I am prone to stage fright so having somone over my shoulder might make things take longer.

bathroom breaks are allowed. But you must be ok with someone watching you take out your member and do your business.

I bet they have someone watching stalls listening for odd movement that could suggest possible violations. Better off avoiding altogether so #2 is not an option.

I’ve always wondered how they protect against people simply walking into the stall with notes or a smartphone and just looking something up quietly with the door closed. It seems that enterprising but unethical candidates could get away with this pretty easily.
I faced this problem last time. I had a bad hangover last year and was dozing off during the exams since I didn’t have enough sleep for the 2 days before the exam. They will allow you to go as many times, just that they should sense the need for it…if you feel like peeing every 15 mins, then its suspicious…but if you are dozing off and they see it then they will allow you a couple of times maybe…and because you are checked before you enter in and your books are locked in a separate room, they don’t come and see you pee…that’s weird…nor do they expect that you would have hidden books inside the loo before the exam…I think they check the loos once the exam just begins to see if any material has been hidden…after that there’s no chance of malpractice.
U have to be an all time dumbass to try and cheat at l3 especially.

My exam location you can use the bathroom whenever. And there is never anyone standing at the door to haunt you either.
I think my location is unusually lax.
Also it has never had a “personal belongings area” either…
I’m mainly worried about having to poo during the morning session, cuz I aint got time for that shit.

My location has about 1,000 candidates. Bathrooms are all the way in the back and candidates are grouped by level 1, 2, & 3 from front to back. It’s a long walk for the L1 candidates. For some, it’s probably at least a 10 minute round trip: notify proctor, walk back, do business, walk back, get test back from proctor, etc… I wouldn’t drink any coffee beyond 730 AM as you will eventually have to pee.
A friend of mine found NOTECARDS in one of the bathroom stalls last year. How dumb do you have to be?
Stuffing your pants with notecards or hiding a smartphone really isn’t going to help you out all that much. You would be burning precious time researching the information you needed. If you need a formula or something you would still have to memorize it right then and there. Also, it’s highly unlikely that a person who is compelled to cheat on the exam will be anywhere close to passing anyway.
