What is the best laptop for investment banking, consulting, and programming?

I’m in the market for a new laptop, and with so many options, picking one feels overwhelming. I’m currently using a Dell XPS 15, but it slows down when I run multiple models and programs at once. So, what do you guys think—should I go for a Lenovo ThinkPad or maybe a model with an AMD Ryzen 9 chip? If anyone tech-savvy is out there, I’d love your help!

honestly these windows computer bleed battery quick. kidna annoying. makes you love the macbook pro.

I hear the windows surface brands are the best. I unfortunately use a dell laptop as that is whats given by work.

I used a Dell XPS 13 at work. It seems that the standard in the finance world is Dell. However, some investment banks may be using Lenovo. This is what I’ve heard.

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad with a Core i7 and I’ve been happy with it.

I recently discovered that there are now laptops specifically designed for machine learning and AI. Quite pricey, though!
