A random rant…on LinkedIn, Facebook, and pretty much any social media platform, one sees a series of people who scribble some hollow platitude on a small dry erase board or piece of cardboard, stand there (often with a solemn look on their faces as if they were hostages in some dimly-lit basement while their captors take photos), and post that photo to whatever platform. Usually there is some social justice or empowerment message associated with these types of photos/posts. Do these folks believe that they are doing something significant for the world with this faux activism? To me, this looks like some “thoughts and prayers” bullish!t. It used to be, the fake activists would at least send a token $20 a year to Greenpeace; now the cause doesn’t get any money at all, but hey, some dingleberries thought enough to scratch some throwaway phrase on a whiteboard and take a picture.
hell nowadays people dont even use words. they use the BLM symbol and call it a day at tik tok!
i just read this libtards piece.
my god. as if covid is what caused america’s downfall. we’ve been relatively losing since 1950s once everyone started rebuilding their shattered economies. that was prolly peak america.
Social media virtue signalers seem to move along with whatever is going on in the media f.ex abortion rights -> trans gender empowerment -> Orange Man Bad -> global warming -> BLM -> Orange Man Is Still Bad! -> the next hot topic. Requires very little thought or actual analysis of the topic at hand, but hey, at least you get to make yourself appear like you’re an enlightened denizen of the world.
its disguting how people lack any type of independent thought anymore. but this isnt even a libtard issue. even the conservatards are ever present with their Qanan bs. if you are one thing then you must be everything else. and everything has to be dramatized. sometimes the majority of ■■■■ doesnt matter, and they all need to chill out.
