Was reading a paper and found this little example.
So, CF1 = -40 (year zero, now)
CF2 = 35
CF3 = 5
CF4 = 4
risk adjusted discount rate = 11%
CF at end of period
What is the PV?
with my old good TI calculator, I find -902M, but my reading says -1486M
Did I forget how to use my TI?

The answer is -1.486, but I have no idea what you are doing with the calculator.
I think your indexing is off by one. Try Cf0=-40, cf1=35, etc.
How about clearing memory? You could have an old entry from L2 days.
Best, use Excel. You are not in the exam anymore.
yes i second that. clear your memory, maybe ānā is set to something else from previous entry.
good luck!
