I am just ready now to start looking at book 6. and I have not touched the sampleexamsn let alone the mock For those who have done both… what is your candid opinion? 1. Just try to kill as much of book 6 + sample exam? 2. Forget book 6, do sample + mocks? 3. Focus on just book 6, it covers almost all the issues? Time is now of essence… more than ever before…
Do book 6, book 7 exam 1 (or the 2006 exam) and a mock
I agree, but I suggest doing book 6, actual 2006 exam, and all the CFAI mocks you can get your hands on. problems, problems, problems. do lots of problems.
the more problems i do, the more problems i found lol!
thanks guys…7 days to go…book 6 ? mocks, and what are you referring to as 2006 exams?
96 questions from the actual 2006 exam are in book 7 - or they are sprinkled in the end of chapter questions in the CFAI text
both.
is there 90 or 96 questions for the cfai 2006 sample exam?
96 Questions… Took it yesterday, I think it’s pretty good, and obviously represenative of the actual format of the exam. I found it to be very fair, and for the most part pretty straight forward.
are those in book 7 different from those at the end of chapters in the cfai texts?
No, same questions, just consolidated into a single test.
merci
thanks for the feedback…now I have look through the CFAI text again and find that elusive vignette I missed.
