What Practice exams are you taking?

Anyone have a good list of all of the practice exams/ q banks you should be doing?

Q-Banks:
Meldrum
Ecosystem

Tests
Schweser (2020)
Boston Society (2020/2021)
Actuals as far back as possible
CFA Mocks

Any other ones I’m missing?

Meldrum mocks

Boston Society (2020/2021)

CFA Mocks

arent these the same?

I seem to recall someone telling me that I had some Level III morning session mock exams available.

I also seem to recall that they’re pretty good.

Too early in the morning to be sure though.

Just took Schweser’s online Mock 2. To be honest AM section is not really good.

TBH they’re shyte

I have taken MM, IFT, Boston, and S2000.

S2000 are the hardest followed by MM. I am a re-taker, and haven’t focused on old exams so much this time around - I used schweser last time and found the PM helpful but AM lacking. I have 3 more S2000 to take, and carefully reviewing the MM exams with videos - reworking a problem then checking the video answer afterwards on questions I bombed.

They’re certainly not intended to be so.

The question is: did you learn something useful from them?

The other question is: if so, could you have learned it elsewhere?

Only practice test with a yale and swap question and a lot of command words I haven’t seen in other mocks. Your answer guide is very useful both short/long. I find sometimes in your justify question your answer will be different then a MM response type of justify response. MM wants to shoot down the other possible options in almost every justify question. Sometimes in your justify question response you don’t have that approach and have a statement justifying your response without eliminating the other choices.

Also, your answers are more concise and more reasonable to come up with your own I think when reviewing the answers to your questions. Your questions are very hard no doubt but when you check the answer your like man that is right and it is only like 1-2 small statement sentences.

You should really consider a video package with your exam where you walk through your answers similar to how MM does. I am reviewing his mocks a second time first for that reason then going to your last for second review because MM does some education and talking on the type of question sometimes that you can’t get in a written answer guide. I revisited the Yale question yesterday and will probably re-work again. I am trying to identify the hardest questions across all MM and S2000 tests and write them on paper then do like 10 questions from that list back to back.

But, your questions are definitely to the level in which I remember taking the exam in 2019. When you see a vignette sometimes you have to really pull in a lot of different things. Also when you pull out statements and list only one word different from CFA exam text. Drives me crazy but effective on hammering away how unprepared I am and where I need to be on some of these topics.

Still in the process of absorbing everything in your mocks - But yea I am glad I am working them over other providers. I should have skipped all IFT material and just utilized MM+your mocks. Would have been the best use of money.

There’s method behind this madness.

If I don’t cover them, how will you learn how to answer them? As you say yourself: you won’t.

And I don’t want the first time you encounter them to be on the real exam, where the marks really count. If you lose some marks on my exam, so what? If you lose them on the real one, that’s a big deal.
