Where did the z-table go?

Maybe a dumb questions, but in level 1 it seems like it was all z and t tables.

Level 2 completely excluded z tables. Can someone please explain?

I mean, we dont need to use it at all for level 2

If you were creating a confidence interval for the dependent variable and you had enough degrees of freedom (> 30), you could use a z-table for the critical values, but it’s more likely you’d use t-tables.

do we really not need to know it? it’s in my notes currently b/c i’m trying to be safe since it’s so closely related to t-tests
