what’s so special about “CAIA frame”?

Seems to me any frame in the right size would do.

I won’t be framing mine. They mailed it in a plain large envelope and it arrived crumpled up. Blows my mind they wouldn’t ship it in a tube like the CFA charter. Also the charter itself looks cheap and almost fake.

I contacted the CAIA association and they will be mailing me a new charter. They also commented that they will be switching printing vendors, so future charters should be higher quality.

^Agreed. Highly disappointed with the lack of care taken in shipping the charter and the quality of the physical charter itself.

I’ll still frame it though.

Mine was shipped it a tube…it looked pretty high quality…

Ask for a replacement. They said the higher quality charters will be shipped in October. Worth the wait, IMO.
