Which video resource is best?

Hi there! What’s up? My name is Max and I’m from Calgary (creative username, I know…)

I am in my final semester of university and I plan to write my CFA in June. I have began studying with the Kaplan S. study notes (2014), and I would like to purchase an additional video resource for supplementing my learning. Unlike many of you, I am sure, I don’t have much of a background in financial academia.

Which video resource would you reccomended at the 300-400 price point?

How about the Wiley CFA Level 1 video lectures? --> http://www.efficientlearning.com/wiley-cfa/products/level-1/lecture-video/

Thanks!

Having seen a lot of the Schweser video lectures, and a handful of Wiley Élan videos, my vote goes to Wiley…hands down.

In my opinion they are miles ahead in terms of actually explaining the concepts and helping you actually understand the material vs Schweser who seem to skim over most of the material and basically just read out the bullet points on the slides they use.

Just my opinion of course, but if you search on YouTube for some of the free Élan L1 videos, you’ll see what I mean. Wiley and Élan are now the same company FYI
