I have a terminal for myself. From what I understand, costs the same, just a different contract type + you get a cool finger-print ID device. When you started working with Bloomberg, how did you get up the learning curve with it? What I mean is knowing where to find what your looking for? Also know what it is that your looking at.

^ HELP key

I had one until recently, trying to decide whether to renew my “transitional Courtesy Trial” which expired last week.

do people use their Bloomberg email/chat alot?

BiPolarBoyBoston Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > do people use their Bloomberg email/chat alot? I use chat all the time, for both work and personal. mail is how I get all my pricing information (trader runs). So yes, I use that a lot.

you just use the laptop keyboard …but that can take a little getting used to . I don’t use it from home a whole lot so I can’t say I have made much use of it . I have never really used the Bloomberg chat ( well only with the helpdesk ppl) although I have used the email on occasion. @ convertarb : I dont have a crackberry but I will be getting one soon I think . Do you still have access to Bloomberg professional service or is it just a basic access ??

We should start an AF chat room. Thoughts?

That does not sound too bad … although there wd no anonymity …

That does not sound too bad … although there wd be no anonymity …
