I was a rock band lead guitarist and I’m working in hedge fund (back office :D). But chicks in India don’t understand or like Rock and they prefer software engineers :(. F**k my life. Hell to CFA, I’m going for GMAT now, let’s see if the luck changes :D.

I guess money is the motivation for any job to a point but if you really have no interest in investments other than that I would advise you to look for another job. Life is too short to be doing something you don’t enjoy even if the money is good.
I would rather do something I hated for a short period of time and make a lot of money and retire than to do something I kind of liked for a long period of time and never be done with it.

Chicks dig guitarists where ever in the world u r. Yes, rock could have been a issue, u should have changed genre instead of ur profession. And Software Engineers are a dime a dozen in India. Hey u were the one who was worried about Indian girls preferring software engineers. I was just saying that if u would go to the extent of changing professions for finding girls, u can try changing the genre. Just a suggestion OK. Dont like it, let it be.
