Xavi IS Spain, there is zero chance of him being replaced, plus I don’t think Koke has proved himself in that type of role, his was very different under Simeone.

Spain have to drop the older players too bench…they can’t play full 90 mins in Brazilian conditions …they would be better used as sub’s…gotta bring in young players like koke ,Mata, and cesc…and Costa/Torres still their best bet…or maybe false no 9
Yep…Spain has a team full of Landon Donovans. I’m a fan of Cesc, Mata, Martinez, Koke etc, but that is the sort of thing that should happen over four years, not four days.
With the number of talented young players that England have like Ross Barkley, Oxlade, Wilshere etc there is absolutely no logical reason for this washed up potato head to start.

fair play, xavi isn’t going to get dropped but they could do with a reshuffle in midfield, they certainly have enough talent and options
I think they should stick with Costa, he didn’t score but he played well in the 1st half, making good runs and getting in good positions.
