Your actual exam pm score - easy as 123?

Pretty sure this would violate no ethical standards… If we could all remember our ABC answers in the pm session someone could compile them in some form of on-line database and estimate our scores either by using concencus AF answers, basing them on someone very clever’s. I used to compare multi choice answers with a small pool of friends at school and results were always pretty accurate. So all we’d need to do is leave the exam with a list of your ABC answers… which is what you could use the STAT function of your calculator for. (A=1, B=2, C=3). The pm session is hardly time pressured. If enough people did it we’d get a pretty good score estimation. Just an idea…

I’d never leave the exam with my answers written down! They could perceive it as cheating

numbers in your calculator =/= writing answers down they may well give answers in a different order in different geographies anyway…

Shoot me an email at Dwight.cfa@gmail.com

apparently the change the order of the questions. but that’s only what i’ve read from this forum (sometime last year when trying to figure how i did level 2).

Be careul and be smart. This is a clear violation of the CFAI testing policy and the pledge you will sign. “After this exam, I will not disclose any portion of this exam…”

Even if you have your “133212…” punched into your calculator and everyone here knows what the answers are to certain questions, there’s no way anyone is going to remember the exact sequence of those questions. Also, you would have to know which answer corresponded to which letter. Also, if a proctor was standing over you and even had a slight hint that you were writing down answers… boom, nulled exam results and a PCP investigation. Who knows, maybe expulsion from the CFA program. Not worth it in my opinion. You could just as easily just give your self +1, -1 for each answer you figure you got wrong without taking the risk of a clear violation.

Completely stupid idea.

guys. as interesting as the info could be when nervously awaiting results, you don’t want to take on this much risk of a violation at the final of the 3 exams. if we know the stuff, we will pass. let’s just believe that and not do this.

No, this sounds like a GREAT idea after 3 years of effort and right before many of us hopefully walk through that door to becoming charterholders! Yeah, I can wait until Aug 18. I’ve worked too hard for this thing to risk it for silly lurkers. (If plyon told me to do it I would.)
