Hi, So Ive been contemplating whether to take this exam this March. I have pushed studying aside for several months now. Do you think it is little too late to start now? I have like 2 months to study. Is this enough to pass level 1? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
Depends on your background really. If you are already in the field, you can probably squeeze it in if you study daily until the exam. If you don’t have a background in the material, I’d say it’s too late to get a good grasp of the material and you’re better off writing it in September. good luck
You can do it in two months. Just get in at least 150 hours. L1 is not that hard. Worst case, you will just be more familiar and pass in Sept. Or pass and do L2 next. Good luck.
Thanks for your inputs. 150 hours sounds not too bad. 150/60 = 2-3 hours everyday. I have background in finance and cfa material so hopefully this shouldn’t be too bad.
I would not totally estimate it that way. 2-3 hours is reasonable but plan for at least a week to miss/skip for whatever reasons. Get sick, stress at work etc. Personally if i get 2 hours every day, i feel lucky. Capitalize on weekends. Study as much as humanly possible.
