Sorry CFAI approved in two days. been 32 f***ing days for NYSAAâŚ
Is there anybody else waiting for CFAI approval for over 10 business days?

Guys, when you applied for membership, did it show up like this: Name: CFA Society of Los Angeles Status: Work Experience Review Submitted Date: 10/1/2009 Type: New Decision Days Remaining: Blank Should the âdecision days remainingâ show something? Also, when I click on my âCFA Institute Membershipâ application, it shows my work history and descrptions - but when I click on the CFA Society of Los Angeles membership, it shows no work history. Is this normal? FYI - my sponsors have submitted their forms.
Mine looks exactly like yours, wangta. I submitted mine a few weeks ago and both sponsors submitted on 9/23.

Have been waiting for CFAI approval for almost 10 days - I was told this could take up to 3 weeks. Are they overloaded ?
I have waited for 1 week.
Submitted on Sept. 24 and got it back today saying description is too brief for the past 3 jobs. I have 6 pages of description. The customer service department told me that the normal procedure is that a second auditor will review it in case the first auditor says the description is too brief. Two auditors are independent, means the second doesnât know it was reviewed by the first one. If the second one approves the work description, then it goes to a third auditor, who will consult with the first and second auditor for a final decision. Is this true? Does anybody have the same experience?

CFAI approved mine in 3 weeks. Still waiting on the local society (itâs been over a month now).

Still waiting - been two weeks now. CFAI sure takes its sweet @ss time!
Almost 3 weeks⌠20 days to be exact. Slow process indeed.

Logged in to my account today, although I never received any notification, the first 11 months were denied⌠Description too brief. Brutal. Thereâs nothing beside the other two roles that I submitted, but I expect those to get approved without any issues. Will work on beefing up my submission for the first role and be prepared to resubmit as soon as I get feedback on the other two roles.
Glendronach, How long was the description for that job?
