It seems definitive then that Jon, Dany, and Tyrion as most of us assumed are the three main characters and will survive to the end, and so are Arya and Bran. With Bran it was obvious that he was important but Arya is a surprise to me to some extent.

I normally respect geo’s opinion around here but I have to say, I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t like GoT at least a little bit. That seems to be a huge character flaw.

I agree with Bob. Although the end will be grand on it’s own, when compared to the hype built around it, for the true fans it will be a huge let down.

Well, they’re almost certainly only cousins, not half-siblings so that makes it okay, right? Right?
As far as the ending goes, I’m optimistic. There are so many ways it could go. Dany’s slipping into insanity, Tyrion is possibly a Targ, Aegon is actually a Blackfyre, Stannis could win the North and put a Stark back in Winterfell making him a major player again…Then there’s still Littlefinger and Varys doing who knows what.
It’ll be impossible to please everyone, but at least whatever happens it’ll be unpredictable.
You already know what the ending will be. Everyone is going to die except one person, who will take the throne. My money is on the dragon girl even though they should have found a better looking and more talented actress for that role. The Lannister house is in disarray and the Starks have been nearly wiped out. Darny is going to mop the floor.
^Emilia Clarke is way hot. She just looks better with dark hair.
