Quick question -Approximately how many White Walkers are there? Last season (?) when the baby was sacrificed there looked like an entire tribe of White Walkers yet in the previous episode there were 4 on the hill and one in the hut. Either way Walking Dead will never be the same now.

No one knows. The White Walkers haven’t played much of a role in the books so far. Nothing at all like what we’ve seen on the show. GRRM has said the next two books will shed some more light on the Land of Always Winter (where the WW come from…probably).
Also, just in case anyone is confused (I’ve had to answer this question a couple dozen times), the White Walkers are sentient beings while the Others/Dead Things are simply, well, dead things the WW reanimate…which should be clear now after that final scene. The Others aren’t “traditional” zombies though. You can chop off their head and they just keep coming. Death by fire is the only sure way of killing them. The Others are also (likely) unaffected by dragon glass and Valyrian steel (other than Valyrian steel is deadlier in general). It’s the WW that those kill. Just an fyi for anyone curious.
Great episode. Enjoyed the Tyrion/Dany scenes as much as anything so far. Probably because us book readers have been waiting for that for years.
Echo the appreciation of the Dany / Tyrion scenes. Tyrion seems to have finally found someone apart from Varys on his wavelength and it is great to watch.
I’m honestly dreading the cliff-hanger at the end of this season and then having to wait a whole year again.
StL, they’ve changed so much stuff that it’s a bit of a wild card how they end it. I could imagine people losing their shit about at least two stories from the book, maybe even three. It’s kind of hard to talk around what these big events could be. Of the three, one, involving a certain walk, is probably most likely to cause commotion.
Typically they haven’t ended the season on a cliffhanger. So I’m wondering what could possibly be the big climax on E9.
Presumably the title refers to the fight in Daznak’s Pit, we will also see Arya make her first kill, Stannis vs Ramsay, and Jon gets pwn3d. Kind of an odd place to end the season.
dude. i thought the hizdahr was controlling the son of the harpies. i was shocked. haha + i love allison thorne. “you’re a nice guy snow… (touching moment), you’re gonna kill us all”. Way to be a douche
