nah, curls are a waste of time imo. my pythons get plenty swole doing pull ups, DLs, SDHPs, cleans, etc.

It’s not so much that curls are pointless as much as they have a tremendous correlation at the average gym to not knowing what you’re doing. “I want to get in shape so I’m just going to do a ton of curls and ab workouts, maybe mix in some triceps”- everyone’s first couple years at the gym.

Heres some Bro-Tips

  • Instead of curls do chinups
  • Instead of tricep extensions do dips
  • Don’t ever use the smith machine, Don’t use any plate loaded “machines” for that matter.

while i do agree that the best way to add arm mass is with the exercises Turd mentioned, if you want to work on that peak, curls at the way to go.

that peak is what gets the ladies…plus the vein.
