^^ who said I enjoyed Isaiah more than Bird. I am rather pleased with both. Anyway, I holding out for the famous farmer tan photo. Why has everyone seen it but me?
I’m like 14 months post-op from a full labrum tear in my right shoulder. The recovery is painfully slow. Don’t let that thing get worse.
I’m still nowhere near where I was on exercises like pull-ups and bench/shoulder press are likely out for the rest of my life. If I do 15 pushups I can feel it for 2 days afterwards in my shoulder. I just started trying to do dips again and it’s comical how much my shoulder still needs to loosen up. They really cranked those anchors in good.
Brutal man. It took me around 8 months before I was feeling semi normal, but even then still not 100%. 2.5 years after, its fine but I can tell that its not like the other. Was climbing about two weeks ago and afterwards it got that dull ache that reminded me lightly of what I went through after it tore initially. Almost as bad as when I tore my hamstring. SUCKS BRO
So you got that surgery where they screw the stuff into your bone?
I have had issues with my right shoulder, including a rotator cuff injury from taking a bad fall in judo. That sh1t took like one year to heal and still I’ll never have full range of motion again - also overhand movements will remain a problem for the rest of my life I guess.
BUT what you guys are describing sounds way worse.
