Ok, makes more sense now. BTW, lookin’ sharp Blake! I need to step it up a notch, notoriouisly lazy dresser.
bump this post for Lea (and myself).
I’ve tried it for about 4 months, from my experience its just a bunch of horse shit that may helpsome people eat less because of the schedule (for example, you might eat more and more unhealthy food when you eat really late at night) but I think for the most part it’s all about how much you eat, not when.
My reason for trying has nothing to do with weight loss and more so focused on the autohagy state. Can you speak to the, if any, hormonal differences between the diets? Also, did you notice your sleep was enhanced?
not at all, I think all it helped was I ate less and became more disciplined with my diet so I think that’s what alot of people are attributing their results to. It trains your brain to change when you will feel hungry if that makes any sense after a while.
The reason I decided to stop was it’s not really that conducive to family life, more of a single guy life style so it wasn’t something I see myself doing for a long time or I would have a pissed off spouse.
ok , i’m on the intermittent fasting bandwagon been trying it out this week my nutritionist said that if I want to succeed in intermittent fasting, it is best to consume all food within an 8hr period. beer and liqour count. so my target eating period is 7:30pm - 3:30am (mainly because I usually go out at night)
lezzz go!
I have been experimenting with intermittent fasting plus ketogenic diet since January-ish
isnt it crazy how good food tastes when you finally sit down and eat? its like THC or something
im like excited the whole day to sit down and eat lol
I do this when I go on longer business trips. Firstly because if you’re out with clients you can’t really say no to drinks/dessert etc so if you’re a cut at the time you’re basically smashing your calories for 3 days in 1 sitting. But the main reason is that i revert to a student whenever I’m left to my own devices and end up forgetting to eat a balanced diet.
Works pretty well for me and I’ve noticed that my blood sugar is much smoother than it was when I first stopped eating 8 small meals a day.
