I’m not aware of any that actually increase your IQ if that’s what you mean. But coke works the same way adderall does. I hate people that do coke…they just gerenally piss me off, but if not abused it can certainly help concentration. Amphetamines also act in a similar manner. They’ll keep you on task with the added bonus of no sleeping. Never been my thing though. The negatives far outweigh the positives.
Pot makes people better at video games. LSD and shrooms can unlock or enhance creative talents.
So, maybe nothing makes you “smarter” but there are positive side effects that can enhance your natural abilities.
Personnally, just drink coffee -like 3 cups a day, and gym. I try to keep it natural.
But regarding prescription meds, my friend back in College decided to try aderrol before the final exam for one of his classes. Next day we saw him, he brought in 50-page notebook which was fully written out in rap-lyrics and freestyles that he came up with. He said that he was writing the whole night and smoked two pacs of cigs. So you may be concentrated, but I guess you still have to direct that concentration towards what you are trying to do.
Something to think about…The US is really cracking down on amphetamines. Aderrol is an ampphetamine. Do not get yourself caught with aderrol without a perscription and if you do have a prescription don’t distribute it.
I find classical music to be very soothing and conducive to a positive studying environment. Also realising when its time to call it quits and hit the sack instead of pushing on. Eat well, try to stay away from heavy and indigestable foods and overeating, and get exercise in. Keep a regular sleeping schedule. Focus on effective studying rather than length of study session!
I agree with the classical music comment, it’s pretty soothing. But it’s nice to switch it up once in a while, so I load up the drum n bass station on di.fm. What I like about both genres is that there are no vocals, which I find to be a distraction.
The last 2 months close to the exam I only eat light small meals, stay a way from alcohol, refine sugar, take vitamin C (because I can’t afford to get sick) and get a good night sleep.
Limitless caught my imagination while for a while. I watched the movie while flying to Dublin on Qatar Airways. I lost interest in it after about 40 mins. So i’d only rate it 5/10
Addreall will work wonders, just start on a low dosage 5mg XR take in the morning or you will be up all night. Doctoers usually wanted you to start on 40mg - 50mg, just say no. Move up in mg gradually, if 5mg dose not do the trick, go to 10mg, then etc…
I have a prescription for Adderall, and I take it only when I study. Yes, I know I use as a PED, and I don’t plan on taking it ever again after I pass Level 3.
I think that it helps me focus for those few hours that I’m trying to study. I am able to focus better, and my “mental stamina” lasts longer than when I don’t take it. When I am only studying 3-4 hours (on a weekday), I take 5 mg. When I am studying more than that, I take 5mg, then another 5mg a couple hours later.
Haven’t noticed any real side effects, except if I take it too late, it’s difficult to fall asleep. And it works as a laxative. Especially when it’s combined with coffee!!!
