How are we doing?

What really pisses me off is that I got a nearly perfect set of essay questions for how I prepared. If I have to do it over I doubt I would be so fortunate again.

Sweet! Layups are very welcome. I found the Schweser final review had tons of those types as well. I wish my exam was tomorrow… Really don’t know how much more I can know in the next day. Guess I’ll memorize that massive chart on uncertainty tomorrow.

BIG ML… Don’t be pissed you got the perfect set of questions for you for the essay part lol… Be happy!

yes be happy. I hope I get similar type of essay (strong sections) and I will be happy. Hopefully we all pass.

BIG ML How about numericals? How many ?

Can’t say for sure, but it felt about the same as the practice exams, possibly a couple more.

I think if your getting in the 70s on practice tests your in good shape for the exam. Actually pass rates are probably mid 60s so there is margin of error… Especially the essay section brings down scores. What are the pass rates for level 2 anyways??

56-58% last March for level II

so close to 15 numericals out of 100 MCQ. Any numericals in PM exam?

Wow 56-58%. I thought it was in the low 50s. Good news lol.

I hope I am one of those in 50% of pass candidates

Just at the exam look to the guy next to you and see if you think you are smarter. I used to do that for CFA. Best part for CAIA you only need to look at one guy… Not two.

Looks can be deceptive. With CAIA, exams are taken at prometric center and guy next to you might be writing Scuba Diving exam or might be taking GMAT. You never know so can’t be compared.

Haha yeah I just assume he is writing what I am and I know it better! I’m doing the CAIA sample questions tomorrow AM… How did you guys score on em? Is it hard?

I didn’t score first time but got 75+ in second time.

K I’ll try and aim for that tomorrow. You seem like your in really good shape to do well!

I will give me thoughts tomorrow when I am done…anyone else taking on the 22nd?

Please share nigelnyc your exp. Good Luck!

I was the only person taking level 2. There was one guy taking level 1. Everyone else was doing GMAT. I found the exam to be pretty fair. It definitely tests your knowledge of the material but is not as challenging as the CFA level 2 and 3 exams.
